On April 15, 2025, the 37th CHINAPLAS International Rubber and Plastics Exhibition was grandly opened in Shenzhen Baoan International Convention and Exhibition Center.
Dongguan Yujie Industrial Investment Co., Ltd. presented its innovative products “Bio-based Modified Polypropylene” and “Bio-based Polypropylene Composite Coffee Residue Fiber Plastic” at SINOPEC's booth in Hall 17.
Among them, the bio-based polypropylene composite coffee grounds fiber plastic is based on bio-based polypropylene derived from gutter oil and waste palm oil, combined with a certain proportion of recycled coffee grounds, and through the original interfacial compatibility technology, it can achieve zero-carbon emission on the basis of maintaining the mechanical properties of traditional plastics. The product has been successfully applied to customized thermal insulation cups for coffee chain brands and was demonstrated on-site.
At the exhibition, SINOPEC's booth demonstrated the material's processing performance and application scenarios to the global businessmen through physical samples, technical explanations and video demonstrations, attracting many industry experts and downstream enterprises to stop by for exchanges. Yujie said that in the future, it will continue to promote the technology iteration of biobased modified materials, and popularize the application to more fields such as daily necessities, packaging, household and consumer electronics, so as to join hands with the industry to help the recycling economy and integrate into the sustainable development.
